Position Profile: The Standley Systems’ Material Handler will be responsible for performing manual and clerical work in a warehouse setting. This individual will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, storing or the delivering of equipment/parts/supplies. This position will report to the Warehouse Director.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing freight trucks
- Daily load & unload internal shipment vehicles
- Inspect, identify, and verify the receipt of inbound shipments against the packing list
- Inventory return process
- Ship & move inventory from different warehouses & client sites
- Verify system receipt completion and properly store all items on shipment in a timely manner
- Inventory assembly & control
- Maintain proper housekeeping throughout the day
- Identify, pull & assemble items/inventory for shipment
- Safely operate a variety of warehouse equipment & vehicles, including pallet jacks and forklifts
- Other duties as assigned by management/supervision
- Maintain inventory in an ERP environment
Requirements:
- Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma/ GED recommended
- Good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Teams & Excel
- Must be able to move and lift >50 lbs. individually or with team
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screen. Standley Systems has federal contracts that require compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, therefore medical marijuana license-holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for the position
